EXIM BANK สนับสนุนทางการเงิน 1,287 ล้านบาทให้กลุ่มเสริมสร้าง พาวเวอร์ คอร์ปอเรชั่น พัฒนาโครงการพลังงานหมุนเวียนในเวียดนามและอินโดนีเซีย ตามนโยบายขับเคลื่อนการค้า การลงทุน และการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน
EXIM BANK สนับสนุนทางการเงินจำนวน 39 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ หรือประมาณ 1,287 ล้านบาท สนับสนุนกลุ่มเสริมสร้าง พาวเวอร์ คอร์ปอเรชั่น นำไปขยายการลงทุนและเสริมสภาพคล่องทางธุรกิจในโครงการโรงไฟฟ้าพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ในเวียดนาม และโครงการติดตั้งระบบผลิตไฟฟ้าแสงอาทิตย์บนหลังคา (Solar Rooftop) ในอินโดนีเซีย ตามนโยบายรัฐบาลและเป้าหมายการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนของ EXIM BANK
ดร.รักษ์ วรกิจโภคาทร กรรมการผู้จัดการ ธนาคารเพื่อการส่งออกและนำเข้าแห่งประเทศไทย (EXIM BANK) และนายวรุตม์ ธรรมาวรานุคุปต์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท เสริมสร้าง พาวเวอร์ คอร์ปอเรชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) (SSP) ร่วมลงนามในสัญญาสนับสนุนทางการเงินของ EXIM BANK รวมจำนวน 39 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ หรือประมาณ 1,287 ล้านบาท เพื่อสนับสนุนการลงทุนก่อสร้างโรงไฟฟ้าพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ กำลังการผลิตรวมกว่า 50 เมกะวัตต์ (สัญญารับซื้อไฟฟ้า 40 เมกะวัตต์) ที่จังหวัดกว๋างหงาย เวียดนาม และโครงการติดตั้งระบบผลิตไฟฟ้าแสงอาทิตย์บนหลังคา (Solar Rooftop) ในรูปแบบข้อตกลงการซื้อขายพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ผลิตจากระบบที่ติดตั้งบนหลังคาโรงงานหรืออาคารของผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจ โดยผู้ประกอบการไม่ต้องลงทุนแต่อย่างใด (Private Power Purchase Agreement : Private PPA) กำลังการผลิตรวมกว่า 30 เมกะวัตต์ ในอินโดนีเซีย ณ EXIM BANK สำนักงานใหญ่ เมื่อเร็ว ๆ นี้
กรรมการผู้จัดการ EXIM BANK กล่าวว่า EXIM BANK บุกเบิกการสนับสนุนโครงการลงทุนของผู้ประกอบการไทยในโครงการพลังงานทดแทนในต่างประเทศมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อตอบสนองเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนขององค์การสหประชาชาติและนโยบายของภาครัฐในการสร้างหลักประกันให้ประชาชนสามารถเข้าถึงพลังงานสมัยใหม่ที่ยั่งยืนในราคาที่ย่อมเยา ควบคู่กับการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยที่มีศักยภาพสามารถขยายการลงทุนไปต่างประเทศเพิ่มมากขึ้น ในช่วง 5 ปีที่ผ่านมา EXIM BANK สนับสนุนวงเงินสินเชื่อให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยลงทุนในโครงการพลังงานทดแทน อัตราการขยายตัวกว่า 50% ต่อปี ขณะที่กลุ่ม SSP เป็นนักลงทุนไทยที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญและประสบการณ์ในการพัฒนาโครงการพลังงานทดแทนทั้งในและต่างประเทศ โดยมีเวียดนามและอินโดนีเซียเป็นเป้าหมายการลงทุนที่สำคัญของนักลงทุนต่างชาติ สอดคล้องกับแผนความร่วมมือด้านพลังงานภูมิภาคอาเซียนที่กำหนดนโยบายเพิ่มกำลังการผลิตไฟฟ้าจากพลังงานหมุนเวียนให้มีสัดส่วน 35% ของกำลังการผลิตไฟฟ้ารวมภายในปี 2568

EXIM Thailand Provides 1,287 Million Baht Financial Support for Sermsang Power Corporation Group’s Development of Renewable Energy Projects in Vietnam and Indonesia in Line with Policy to Drive Trade, Investment and Sustainable Development
EXIM Thailand has rendered a financial facility worth 39 million US dollars or approximately 1,287 million baht to support Sermsang Power Corporation Group’s expansion of investment and enhancement of business liquidity for its solar power plant project in Vietnam and solar rooftop installation project in Indonesia in line with the Thai government policy and sustainable development goals of EXIM Thailand.
Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Mr. Varut Tummavaranukub, Chief Executive Officer, Sermsang Power Corporation Plc. (SSP), recently signed a financial facility agreement amounting to a total of 39 million US dollars or approximately 1,287 million baht at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office to finance SSP’s construction of a solar power plant with a generating capacity of more than 50 MW (40 MW electricity offtake agreement) in Quang Ngai province of Vietnam, and a solar rooftop installation project with a generating capacity of more than 30 MW in Indonesia to accommodate private power purchase agreement (Private PPA). Under the PPA, electricity would be generated from solar rooftop systems installed on buildings or factories of business entities who bear no investment costs thereon.
EXIM Thailand President said that EXIM Thailand has pioneered supporting Thai entrepreneurs’ renewable energy investment projects overseas on a consistent basis to respond to sustainable development goals of the United Nations and Thai government policy to ensure energy security for people in access to new and sustainable source of energy at low cost in conjunction with promotion of and support for Thai entrepreneurs with potential for expansion of investment abroad. For the past 5 years, EXIM Thailand has rendered credit lines to Thai business entities for their investment in renewable energy projects with a growth of over 50% per year. SSP Group is a Thai investor well positioned with expertise and experience in development of renewable energy projects both at home and overseas. Vietnam and Indonesia are mainly targeted investment destinations of foreign investors. This would be in line with ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation thereby renewable energy share in total installed power capacity of the region is targeted to increase to 35% by 2025.
